Kat Lehnert-Scott

Though I am from New York, I have lived most of my life here in Bel Air/Harford County and am a graduate of Bel Air High School. I have worked as a peer recovery specialist, a drug and alcohol counselor, a case manager, a business development associate, and now as the Director of Operations at The Healing Center(a small men's treatment center in Edgewood). I have my MBA in Healthcare Management from WGU. and am very passionate about helping those struggling with substance use disorder. My personally favorite population to work with are the incarcerated or recently incarcerated, as I have lived through those same struggles as well. I have had eight years clean and sober in the past, I am currently approaching two years again come August. My recovery and my life both look very different this time around, as I am now a single mother in recovery as well, but I would not trade this life for anything. Thank you for having me on the show!
