Rich Bennett 0:28
What if living a healthier life didn't require chasing every new fad, counting every calorie, or completely turning your world upside down? What if the biggest improvements came from understanding a few simple principles that anyone can put into practice? Today's guest believes that good health isn't meant to be confusing, and after spending nearly 35 years helping people take control of their well-being, he's made it. His mission to prove just that. Dr. Bob McCalley is a certified nutritional consultant, certified master herbalist, a naturopathic doctor, author of Eight Books on Natural Health, and founder of the watershed wellness center in Lansing, Michigan. Through his practical seven component in health protocol, he teaches that lasting health is built through everyday habits, not impossible expectations, and he shares straightforward tips that people can actually stick with. So whether you're looking to feel better, have more energy, or simply understand your body a little better, this conversation's going to be packed with insights that could change the way you think about health for years to come. But Dr. Bob, I got to ask you, do you go about Dr. Bob, Bob, Robert, don't call me late for dinner?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:52
You know what, Dr. Bob.

Rich Bennett 1:53
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:54
Well call me, but Bob and a lot of other

Rich Bennett 1:58
know,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:58
names, you a lot of other

Rich Bennett 2:00
Yeah, oh, I'm the same way.

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:02
names.

Rich Bennett 2:03
I want to get right into this, because when we were in the green, when I mentioned how I'm finally eating healthier and doing a lot more healthier things, which cracks me up, because in the Marine Corps, you know, it's not a matter of health. It's more fitness than anything, because we did not eat healthy. Believe me.

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:23
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 2:24
But you spend nearly 35 years helping people improve their health. When you look back, what first drew you in the natural health, and what convinced you that this was the path you were meant to follow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:41
Okay. Well, first of all, thanks for

Rich Bennett 2:44
me.

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:44
having

Rich Bennett 2:44
Oh, my

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:45

Rich Bennett 2:45
pleasure.

Dr. Bob McCauley 2:46
love, I love coming on podcasts. I love getting my message out and tell people about health, you know. Yeah. I mean, the first time I ever heard anything about health was in high school. And my coach said I never knew, so I was in track and cross country.

Rich Bennett 3:02
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 3:03
And, you know, he says, he told me, he says, don't eat all that junk food. Don't eat pop, your times are going to go down. I'm like, I never heard anything in my life that associated, okay, with what I eat would turn into some of my performance or my health. How I run. And you know, quite honestly, when you're young, you can get away with that. We had one of the greatest stars at our high school, was worked in a convenience store, and he was a junk food addict

Rich Bennett 3:31
Wow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 3:31
and that's all he ate. And he'd work all night and then he'd go out at 11 o'clock and he'd run 20 miles and go to bed. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 3:38
Wow,

Dr. Bob McCauley 3:38
DeWine, DeWine Spitz, he ran in the Boston Marathon, he finished in the top 20, so he was quite an, but you know, that kind of lifestyle catches

Rich Bennett 3:47
with

Dr. Bob McCauley 3:47
up

Rich Bennett 3:47
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 3:48
You can do that when you're young, get away with that burn calories, you know, eat crap, burn. There's actually a documentary out there about the human body and how it operates, and they show this, you know, professional skater. And who just, I need calories, so they would eat all us garbage.

Rich Bennett 4:05
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 4:05
And you don't want to do that. So that was the first time I heard about it. Then kind of my early 20s I stopped because my bones, my bone, I grew up in the 1960s that my bones were made out of Coca-Cola

Rich Bennett 4:17
on, yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 4:18
and Oreo. I grew up you know, no association with like health. But then, I was in my early 20s, I started, then I, I totally changed my diet. I did some traveling I was overseas and I just gave up pop and cookies

Rich Bennett 4:34
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 4:34
and Oreo cookies and all these things and I just kind of, they all kind of went away. I had a change in lifestyle and then I finished up college, I went to Michigan State and then I, I, I did some more traveling and that's actually, I went to India and became a vegetarian and I became a vegetarian because you could not find meat at all in that you wanted to eat. You could see some meat sitting there but you're going, no, I don't think so.

Rich Bennett 5:02
You didn't know what it was.

Dr. Bob McCauley 5:03
No, India has come a long way. Still pretty primitive. Back then, I mean, it was like, I was there six months, it was like a six month camping trip

Rich Bennett 5:13
Wap,

Dr. Bob McCauley 5:14
and so it was really tough but that, that's what it was a stage forward but it wasn't really so I was already, and then I just kept stayed vegetarian the reason I just felt better. It kind of was easier to digest my food. I got

Rich Bennett 5:28
right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 5:28
used to it. You had to be really careful about the kind of what you're going to put in your body in India. Then I did some more traveling and and, you know, I just kind of over the years, I kind of stayed up, you know, I thought I was eating healthy and I was compared to the average person. But then I got into business. So I got into business back in '93 and you know, I got into the Bottled Water business and for the first thing I'll tell you was that people did not realize that

Bottled Water was a health product. So this is '90. This is early '90s.

Rich Bennett 6:02
That was before the big Flint mission thing, right?

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:06
Oh yeah, Flint was just a few years ago.

Rich Bennett 6:08
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:08
Flint was maybe five years ago now.

Rich Bennett 6:11
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:11
That was, that was, that was pure stupidity.

Rich Bennett 6:13
That seemed like a

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:13
Pure

Rich Bennett 6:14
long time ago.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:14
something. Yeah. That was so stupid. Maybe it was a little more than that.

Rich Bennett 6:19
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:19
I think I think Obama was in office

Rich Bennett 6:21
then.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:21
around

Rich Bennett 6:22
Okay. Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:22
There improved you could drink it. But it was, I mean they had they had City of Detroit water, which is great water. And they said, Hey, let's get our water out of the Flint river. Well, did anybody, did anyone test this? Did anybody, you know, I mean, it's just so fun. So that's kind of what happened there. But no, so I was in Bottled Water and there was hardly really any bottled water on the market. I mean, you'd see bottles up there. There was Avion,

Rich Bennett 6:49
their,

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:49
Called, yeah,

Rich Bennett 6:50
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:51
and which is, by the way, it's that's naive spelled backwards, just so you know,

Rich Bennett 6:55
I never saw the amount, that

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:57
yeah.

Rich Bennett 6:57
wow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 6:58
That's why that was my early early marketing. So I got into bottled water and there was a couple other brands out there. Nia, okay, it was one came from Canada that Coca-Cola destroyed that by doing the distribution and then dumping them flat. So they, that was the plant all along. So then they got done Sonny. So at any rate, I was huge in target. You could walk into a target and say, Hey, here's my products. And I'll take you know and there were bottle water was getting more popular.

Rich Bennett 7:31
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 7:31
I've got a riddle of article, I used to live in New York and I riddle of article in New York Time said 'bottle water's gonna be huge in the 90s'. And so that was it. Now my, my father was a bottle was a water expert, he had an engineering company.

Rich Bennett 7:50
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 8:01
You gotta have a big company, but I said, "No, I'm gonna start this." Got into places like Target, just killed it. I mean, I could just walk it. But then they corporatized in the late '90s. And so now you had to go to Minnesota to give them everything. Here's my product. So, so they, you know, so it was just out of my league. And they kicked me out overnight. I mean, I was out selling everybody. But people wanted this, they saw bottled water as a health product. So, about six months into selling into the supermarkets and the pharmacies and, you know, into Target and many other places, I just decided, you know what, these guys are just gonna control my business. When they want to put me on display, I'm gonna sell a ton, and that's what I sold a ton of water. They put me a checkout lane. It was gone. You know,

Rich Bennett 8:52
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 8:53
I had all these colored caps and the kids would see them. And mom would be like, "Okay, you know, it's not a candy bar." So, yeah, take your bottle of water. And it was a good price point. I was, you know, no, it wasn't expensive. I was lower than everyone else. And so I was, did great. But anyway, I said, "I got to get a bottle of water store. And, and so I could deal directly with people in which I got the watershed it was called. And then people kept coming in over the years. And they kept telling me about products I never heard of. And one of them was alkaline, ionized water. So I got on to water. So I was already into water. Yeah, there

Rich Bennett 9:31
you go. That's what I'm drinking.

Dr. Bob McCauley 9:32
Okay. That's what you want to drink. And I wrote a book about that. It's one of my, one of my books, my best, best seller. "The miraculous power of bridges of ionized water." You know, the definitive guide to the world's healthier substance because there's no, no, there's nothing healthier for your body than water.

Rich Bennett 9:49
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 9:49
And then there's no better water than alkaline ionized water. And, you know, you want to stay away from purified water. That's reverse osmosis in distilled water. Okay. That's completely the opposite of ionized water. And I could give you the details on that, but you don't want to, you don't want to drink that. You know, rainwater is not purified water. Rainwater has got a lot of stuff

Rich Bennett 10:10
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 10:11
in it. And it's, you know, it's not just pure water falling out of the sky. So at any rate, it's just substance you don't find in nature at all, purified water because it's always

Rich Bennett 10:21
something.

Dr. Bob McCauley 10:21
mixing with

Rich Bennett 10:22
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 10:22
So,

yep. So at any rate, I did another one. So they came and I got into that and that was in the 90s, the water. And then somebody came in and mentioned actually something called, they called it plant plankton. It wasn't plant plankton. It was called spray, it was really spirulina.

Rich Bennett 10:42
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 10:42
She is two of the biggest foods. I wrote that once, one of my books there, Clarell and Spirula, Kings of all superfoods. So I'm like, I never heard of, you know, so I'm a vegetarian. I never heard of spirulina. Spirulina and Clarell are 60% protein.

Rich Bennett 10:58
Really?

Dr. Bob McCauley 10:58
Okay. Yeah. And so the highest amount of protein in any food, nobody comes close, nothing comes close to, you know, the amount of protein that's in there. But then they're both very broader ray of nutrients, very the most nutritionating dense foods in the world. And the only two foods really, you can live on exclusively and get all your basic nutrients. So you can survive on a lot of things.

Rich Bennett 11:26
I've never heard of it.

Dr. Bob McCauley 11:28
Yeah, I know that's what I'm trying to change. That's one of the things. Yeah, people don't know. Sprereiline is a blue algae. It's technically not an

Rich Bennett 11:42
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 11:42
algae. It's called cyanobacteria, but let's not get too detailed. And then chlorella is a green algae. So chlorella is like the first food on the planet billions of years ago. That's the first thing that really appeared.

Rich Bennett 11:53
Interesting.

Dr. Bob McCauley 11:53
And to be honest, also is a plant. Okay, but spereiline was before that. A cyanobacteria. About 300 million years.

Rich Bennett 12:01
Wow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:02
So you see these powerful foods that have been around the planet for billions of years. And then eventually we had land plants and all that. And even seaweed. Now, seaweed is a derivative of it. And there's lots of incredible seaweed out there. You can put in your diet. Kelp is a good example. One of the ones I sell, there's a whole bunch of them out there. Dolce is a good one. But those came like millions of years later. So chlorella was fresh water. Okay. Nothing from the sea. Same with spereiline. The fresh water algae. So I got into those. So I heard about them. I'm like, okay, why haven't never never heard about this. I'm a vegetarian. I used to eat fish

Rich Bennett 12:47
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:48
and eggs. And I mean, that's how he's eating eggs in India is how I survived. I mean, literally one of the ways, if the eggs were cooked right in front

Rich Bennett 12:57
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:57
of me, don't

Rich Bennett 12:58
Not

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:58
go,

Rich Bennett 12:59
the

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:59
don't

Rich Bennett 12:59
role.

Dr. Bob McCauley 12:59
get them, not get them from the back. You'd eat a lot of peanuts because I could, I could open them up. And because I was just getting so sick, everywhere I went, dysentery.

Rich Bennett 13:09
Oh, man.

Dr. Bob McCauley 13:11
Yeah. But now I'm thinking, okay. Now, so I was eating dairy products, which I love. But dairy products and eggs and fish. And so I said, you know, I don't need those. I'm taking spereolina. So I started taking it. And I'm a runner. So my time started dropping. My recovery started getting shorter from eating the spereilina. And then I, I back down to, this is early 90s. So I, you know, the internet's out there, but it's, you know, pretty, you know, rudimentary.

Rich Bennett 13:41
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 13:41
And pretty bad, the Google's now out there. So I went down to the health food store. And, um, and, you know, I found a book on Clarala. And, um, and I'm like, what's Clarala? Wow, what's, what's that? So then I got that book and I read it. And like, even at the health food store, they maybe had one brand. There was something called Sun Clarala. And that was the one brand that was on there of Clarala. And then there's something called, you know, spereolina that was like one brand.

Rich Bennett 14:12
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 14:13
China or whatever. There's just not, you know, people just didn't know about it. I, I, you'd ask in the health food store. So what's this Clarala? They didn't know anything about it. They're like, I don't know all, you know, I know about all our vitamins and all that stuff. But, um, that any rate, so, uh, it was just not well known at all. But somebody told me about that, and I got into it and got into Clarala. So I did get on the internet and started searching around what can I find? Well, at first, I, I found a spereolina that came out of Hawaii. So I started buying that in tablets and, um, and, um, and, and packaging it and selling it to people. And then I was lucky enough to find Clarala in Taiwan, because it's not made in a lot of places. You gotta know what you're doing.

Rich Bennett 15:00
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:01
It nearly as easy as spereolina. Okay. Spereolina's just grown, uh, pretty easily. And, um, you know, it's, it's simple. Clarala is much more difficult, and then you gotta take the cell wall of the Clarala and break it open. Okay, to get it to nutrients called crack cell or broken cell. And you cracked that open and that fiber is amazing, uh, for is it really probably the best dietary fiber known in the world. And it pulls out heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides, all sorts of toxins the body.

Rich Bennett 15:33
Wow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:33
And, um, and, uh, you know, so you, you, you, you get this, and that's what, that's what's on in the outer shell. And that's one of the thing that's like protected Clarala for all these, you know, centuries and centuries and centuries. The fact that it's got this hard shell protects it from radiation, protects it from change. It just has been there all that

Rich Bennett 15:53
What's

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:53
time.

Rich Bennett 15:53
it

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:53
knife?

Rich Bennett 15:53
like,

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:53
So,

Rich Bennett 15:54
a uh,

Dr. Bob McCauley 15:56
well, we're talking about microbiology and microbiology is, you know, I mean, uh, I don't have a tablet here, um, but, um, oh,

Rich Bennett 16:08
so, okay, so it's in a tablet. Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 16:11
uh it's in a tablet or it's in a, um, it's in a tablet or, or powder.

Rich Bennett 16:17
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 16:17
Now I do the tablets. Um, you're just so much better off just, you know, cause they're not culinary delicacies, but they are the two most powerful foods in the world. So,

There's a tablet. So you, okay, 12 of those, which is three grams. That's a serving size. And that's got, so if you took a serving size in your hand, right 12 tablets, and you took down those that down with a meal, that's all the protein you need for that meal. Okay. So if you still want to eat meat fish, egg, your dairy, that's strictly for the taste, but that's enough right there 12 tablets. So people want to take one of these because they like pills.

Rich Bennett 17:03
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 17:04
Okay, it's all right, but you know, I take a lot more than 12, you know, at a time, I probably take around 20 25,

Rich Bennett 17:10
Wow.

Dr. Bob McCauley 17:11
but you look at the amount of protein you're really only talking a couple of grams of protein because they always tell you with the food guide pyramid, the food pyramid thing. You need 51 grams of protein. You need about 50 grams of meat. Okay. And of meat, that is protein is about 15 to maybe 20%, depending on the cut of.

Rich Bennett 17:37
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 17:38
You get your, you get your filling menu, it's going to be up there alone 20, you get your hamburger, and your standard hamburger in the really low. It's going to be around close 15, 16%. So you've got to, you know, just kind of think about how much protein is actually in there. It's kind of misunderstood nutrient

Rich Bennett 17:53
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 17:53
protein. You know, we didn't know about it 100, 150 years ago. They kind of discovered, hey, here's protein. And you know, it does amazing things in the body, but you don't need that much of it. And the body can't store protein. It can't store amino acids. So that's why you constantly need to be eating a little bit of protein throughout the day.

Rich Bennett 18:12
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 18:13
So every meal I recommend you have some protein no matter what you always have your protein. So, because it'll help you digest that food.

Rich Bennett 18:21
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 18:21
So like, you know, even if you're going to have a salad, you know, do, either take some chlorol and spirulina or put some chicken on it because there's a little bit of protein in that salad is going to go on better no matter what you eat a baked potato, you know, put some meat on there or whatever. Some, you have some eggs, you know, in the morning, whatever that protein is going to help you digest that a lot more efficiently. So I got anyway, I got got back to these, I kept getting people coming at all these health-minded people because it was bottled water. And then I found out about ionized water right in the beginning in the

Rich Bennett 18:56
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 18:56
90s. So I started selling that by the gallon, including just really well filtered water that came from literally a well 250 feet down. I had great water. Michigan has great water. Like I have, I have a well at my house. I'm blessed because everybody else has municipal water. But where I am, it's been such kind of a goes back to 1970 the house. So that's all you had was wells. Well, well, I, you know, I went down, you know, years and years ago, you know, they asked Ronald Reagan, they said, hey, we have a we have a drought here. What are we going to do when

he said, well, well, I have a well go right down that we got great water and that you know, you go down to like Florida. They don't have good water at all because there that was a marsh

Rich Bennett 19:56
like, yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 19:57
you thought years ago. So they don't have good water. So it depends on where you are. You go out to the Southwest. I mean, you got, you got to go down a thousand feet to strike water, a thousand feet. And you don't even, they don't even know where that water's coming from. They really don't know, you know, we know where ours is coming

Rich Bennett 20:14
from. Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 20:15
You know, it's the, it's a sandstone aquifer that's called the Pennsylvania foundation. So in our strata, you know, but it's really the foundation. But okay, we know where that's come. But you get out west. It's so deep, they're not sure where that water actually is coming as that where it's coming. Because it's all desert.

Rich Bennett 20:32
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 20:32
So like New Mexico is a good example. But in a very, very high calcium in the water. I mean, you could have, you can have a thousand parts per million out there.

Rich Bennett 20:44
Whoa,

Dr. Bob McCauley 20:44
And so yeah, really, really high is saturated in the water. So that's what they look at it. And a lot of fluoride, you know, out there,

Rich Bennett 20:53
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 20:54
natural fluoride, it still isn't good for you, but it's not as bad as the fluoride they put into the water, and the drinking water. That's sodium fluoride or sysio sodium fluoride.

Rich Bennett 21:03
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 21:04
And then what you find out of the ground is calcium fluoride. Not as bad, but still I would avoid it if you're possible, but that you go out to New Mexico and you've got what they call the fluoride belt. And you know, it's like, you know, you get up there, 18, 20 parts per million of fluoride. That's off the scale. What they're putting in your water, which I wish they wouldn't, is about 0.9 parts per million, 0.9, maybe one part per million at the mouks, you know, they shouldn't put anything.

Rich Bennett 21:35
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 21:35
You know, where this comes from. The big myths that they should just stop, Utah stopped it. They signed the bill out there. I mean, I couldn't, I couldn't believe that. They forced it through the house in the Senate and the governor reluctantly signed the bill. That was maybe a year ago. So taking the fluoride out of the water is amazing. I couldn't believe it. Because that's the AMA is behind America Medical, or ADA, American Dental Association.

Rich Bennett 22:00
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 22:01
They're behind the fluoride. There's some other groups out there too that are really behind that, but they're behind the fluoride. But at any rate, so once again, I'm in my store and I keep getting people coming in and tell me about different things. They tell me about how healthy raw fruits and vegetables are. So I'm like, why do I want to do that? There's this old woman that used to come in. I call her old, but I mean, she was Hyawathacroma. She's a black woman. That woman just refused to listen to anything that was negative. If you start talking negative, she changes

Rich Bennett 22:34
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 22:34
subject. What a beautiful day, and she just was something. She passed away. They had so many people at her

Rich Bennett 22:40
Oh,

Dr. Bob McCauley 22:40
funeral.

Rich Bennett 22:40
I bet.

Dr. Bob McCauley 22:41
Yeah. She was beloved. But she came in. She says, you should buy some ice sprout. She was making sprouts. And I've never heard of really a sprout in my life. So anyway, I said, OK, why would I want this? And then I started looking into the sprouts. And then, oh, I want the enzyme. So I bought a book on enzyme therapy by Dr. Howell. And I began to say, oh, this is our body wants.

Rich Bennett 23:08
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 23:08
Enzymes are an heavy raw fruit and vegetable. And by the way, we talk about ionized water. Ionized water, why it's so incredible. It has all the exact properties as raw fruits and vegetables, all of them, except there's no nutrients, OK? So you have a negative ORP and a powerful antioxidant, OK? It has actually three antioxidant qualities in ionized water. And then an abundance of electrons, which our body starved for. It's very alkaline. Raises the body pH. Disease always can't live in a neutral environment. You measure that through your urine, not your tongue.

Rich Bennett 23:49
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 23:50
That's different. That's different pH. And you do it every day for a month. It'll give you a moving average. And then, you know, it's very-- got these-- what they call structured water. So they're the water molecule clusters that are six-sided. Now, you look at anything in-- there's a hexagonal water. Now, you look at anything in nature. The most efficient shape in nature is the hexagon. And that's the energy that it comes down to. CEC crystals,

Rich Bennett 24:20
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 24:21
hexagon. You see snake skin, hexagon. You see bug eyes, OK? Hexagon. You know, honeycomb,

Rich Bennett 24:30
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 24:30
hexagon. So this is very-- now, we go back to purified water. There used to be something called Penta Water. Well, that's five-sided Penta Water. That was on the market for years and years. That's purified water.

Rich Bennett 24:43
OK.

Dr. Bob McCauley 24:44
Yep. So, yeah, and that doesn't fit. Our body wants-- the hexagon, because it's the human body. And so does an animal. They want a hexagon.

Rich Bennett 24:53
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 24:54
And we all do. It's just-- so what it does is it gets in there, hydrates your tissue very well, much better than any other kind of water, whether it's conventional spring water and especially purified water. And it hydrates the body and the cells, and then pushes out all the things that don't belong there, which we refer to as toxins. So you get-- it's really detoxifying. You know, just shortly or briefly, a toxin is something that doesn't belong in the body. And there are very serious toxins, heavy metals, herbicide, pesticides, all sorts of really bad stuff. And then there are very mild ones. And that's what disease lives on. That's--

Rich Bennett 25:33
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 25:33
starts disease. That's you get your body becomes toxic. Well, it's got a bunch of things that don't belong in there. I mean, if you're running a business and you got, you see, you had just a bunch of people coming in and talking to people and hanging around and, you know, and talking about what happened at the ball park yesterday, you'd say, okay, hey, you need to leave because I'm trying

Rich Bennett 25:55
business.

Dr. Bob McCauley 25:55
to run a

Rich Bennett 25:55
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 25:56
You're toxic. Well, that's what's going inside your body. You got all these things that are there that don't belong there and they're interfering with inter cellular communication and they're they're getting lodged in the tissue and they're creating this acidic environment in this toxic environment. You know, I'm going to tell you right now, all this, you know, Alzheimer's

Rich Bennett 26:20
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 26:20
and dementia. I mean, it's all been going on from, you know, Crazy Aunt, so and so, you know, back then she's like, you know, I mean, brain toxicity is nothing new but it's so common amongst people. But that is they say, well, we're looking for the cure for that. Well, that's brain toxicity, but

Rich Bennett 26:37
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 26:38
Very, very difficult to detoxify the brain, especially when you're older. So, you know, you know, one of the things that brain, the brain needs two things in in basic fat, the brain needs fat and then needs acids, amino acids, all sorts of different types

Rich Bennett 26:56
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 26:56
of acid. And one of the things that needs is magnesium and it needs it really badly because that is the neuro, you know, the connectors, the synapse. And so, there's, I sell a particular type of magnesium, called magnesium, magnesium, or magnesium L3 and 8.

Rich Bennett 27:17
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 27:17
So magnesium L3 and 8, I'm big into magnesium. I don't really have a magnesium product. I think I'm going to put one together, but I get up every day myself personally and I take a mixture of seven different types of magnesium and one of them is the L3 and 8 that gets into the brain, but that's been proven in studies after one after another to increase synapses in synaptic activity. And, and so that's what you want for clear thinking. Like, and I'm, you know, I'm 68 and I'm thinking clear everything.

Rich Bennett 27:51
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 27:52
you know, the brain fog. And you gotta get it on top. So, you recommend you start getting magnesium in your diet, in particular, magnesium L3 and 8, or what they call mag-t, and just a branding. And, but once I found out about that, once it was introduced to me by a company that really didn't understand what this product was. I mean, they

Rich Bennett 28:14
really,

Dr. Bob McCauley 28:15
knew what I saw. Yeah, it's about 15 years ago. Yeah, they're a big supplier, but the woman that was there, she goes, she kind of knew what it was and she started telling me about this and I'm going, holy crap, this is amazing. So she gave me like 100 grams, and I took it on, it's not the type of thing that you really take and you feel it immediately, but

Rich Bennett 28:35
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 28:35
some people do, you know, my old, my younger son says, yeah, I mean, I can immediately feel magnesium, but I really don't, you know, but you, you know, really for mental clarity is one of the most important things.

Rich Bennett 28:49
But

Dr. Bob McCauley 28:50
anyway, but, but I know his water really helps his detox by including, including the brain, you know, And, and by the way, that magnesium crosses the brain blood barrier and it's the only type of magnesium. Thrayanine is an amino acid. I highly recommend adding that to your diet. That'll do amazing things in the body, three innings. So these in different amino acids can, you know, there's a lot of talk about peptides. Those are amino acids. They're short chain, chain, amino acids, but we just got to get right back to the basics.

Rich Bennett 29:23
yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 29:23
Being mineralized is one of the most important things. So I got, I got into raw fruits and vegetables and I still eat mostly raw fruits and vegetables. Like I do, I haven't eaten anything. I'm in, you know, I'm sometime as you, so it's 11 o'clock. I don't eat anything till noon every day. So I've got a, I've got a chance in the morning, well, throughout the night, I ate a six o'clock yesterday last night and, and then I have this, you know, chance for my body to, you know, kind of cleanse itself.

Rich Bennett 29:51
right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 29:51
So I'm on a, like a mini fast. So I'm fasting every single day, 15 to 18 hours. Now fasting is the healthiest thing you could do. I do it every day. And then I, then I have a meal at noon and I usually eat a lot of fruit because I like it.

Rich Bennett 30:06
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 30:06
for your lean and chlorella. So I get my protein and it keeps me like my stomach. So I'm not like, you know, I don't want to have a big heavy, even a big heavy salad or anything. But, you know, whatever's in season, like the mangoes, what I think that's my favorite one. The mangoes are there in season now and, you know, I always love my bananas and, you know, whatever, you know, in a month or so we're start getting apples. You know, we get tomatoes coming on in another month,

Rich Bennett 30:33
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 30:33
you know. So those are good. Another fruit. But at any rate, I got into, you know, the, the, you know, eating these raw foods and I felt better, you know, right away. I start sprouts, you know, sprouts are little seeds that, you know, that, you know, sprout and that's it. And people think, "Okay, now you can grow broccoli. I can grow anything from a seed. You gotta have right seed,"

Rich Bennett 30:59
but-

Dr. Bob McCauley 30:59
but,

Rich Bennett 30:59
Well, kinds of different sprouts, correct?

Dr. Bob McCauley 31:01
Yeah, you know, you think, for as many fruits and vegetables in the world, that's

Rich Bennett 31:08
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 31:08
how many sprouts there are. But I, during the winter, so you say, "Where are you going to get your fresh fruit?" and all that kind of stuff. Well, I like Red Clover, El Falfa. Radish is a good one. They're easy to sprout. Things more like other ones are irregular or more difficult. They're kind of viscous, so you they kind of got this, you got to grow them on clay or terracotta.

Rich Bennett 31:34
Really?

Dr. Bob McCauley 31:34
So you got to know what you're doing with those guys. But, which you can grow them, and they're not that bad. But, but I do that throughout the winter. So here's the- but they're powerful foods because when a seed sprout, I give you a good example of broccoli. So, when a seed sprout, it produces huge amounts of enzymes. And in the case of broccoli, it produces something called suflora fein. And suflora fein is powerful anti-cancer properties used throughout the body. There's actually two different enzymes that are prominent, but you'll get 50 times more suflora fein out of a sprout, three to five days old, then you will in an entire head of broccoli.

Rich Bennett 32:22
Really?

Dr. Bob McCauley 32:22
Yeah, because it produces that suflora fein right in the beginning. As soon as it sprouts, it's doing its thing. It's really miraculous. It's doing all these things. As soon as you add water, that's it. And it does all these things. And then, you know, it grows into a plant. So, it stops making the suflora fein because, okay, it made that, and now it's got to work on the plant. And that just gets spread out

Rich Bennett 32:48
through

Dr. Bob McCauley 32:48
and head of the broccoli. And the most of it's going to be in the florets on top, which is what we usually eat, not in the stem. But, you know, you're just best of sprouting broccoli, which is one of the ones that is another one I do is sprout broccoli all winter. So, you're getting these powerful enzymes and right in the beginning. So, I'm getting huge amounts of suflora fein

Rich Bennett 33:13
the

Dr. Bob McCauley 33:13
and some other enzymes out of all these. And just so you understand, now, enzymes, when you cook your food, they're gone. So, if you stir up a nice, you know, onions and garlic,

Rich Bennett 33:25
you

Dr. Bob McCauley 33:26
know, you, when you hit 104 degrees, enzymes start breaking.

Rich Bennett 33:31
By

Dr. Bob McCauley 33:32
118 degrees, they're gone. And they ain't coming back. So, and there's a lot of energy. And there's a lot of in a raw food, because there's so many enzymes. And let me tell you something. One thing we will never do is make an enzyme. God created

Rich Bennett 33:52
enzyme.

Dr. Bob McCauley 33:52
the

Rich Bennett 33:53
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 33:53
And that's he's not giving you the blade of grass. I mean, I think it was Henry Ford said, give me, you know, we do all these machines and all this stuff. We can't make one blade of grass. That's like, what's it going, you know, what's going on with that. Yeah. So, we can, we can, we need the seeds. We always need the seeds. It's another good thing to keep down in the bunker. If you

Rich Bennett 34:20
happy,

Dr. Bob McCauley 34:20
get very get some seeds, that's powerful food, all you need is water, those sprout and then, you know, you've got a really powerful food source down there. So, along with the Claline Spray Alina. Say, if I was going to go into the bunker, I'm take, I want, I want to want to two kilos or several pounds of Claline Spray Alina because that's your ultimate. You could do your Patriot supply and this, these things and all the cook foods and, you know,

Rich Bennett 34:45
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 34:45
open the packet. But nothing compare. If you want to be stay healthy and get your nutrients, you want Spray Alina and Claline and seeds is a good way. So, at any rate, but there's, there's so much energy. and it's up here, whereas, you know, when you eat low on, you know, when you really crap, when you're eating fast food, uhm, fried foods, okay, which we all love, uhm, processed foods, this is as low as it gets.

Rich Bennett 35:13
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:14
There's no energy there, and so you're, you wonder why we age, well we age because we keep putting low energy substances into our body, and sometimes it's just total crap and

Rich Bennett 35:25
uhm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:25
maybe,

Rich Bennett 35:26
hmm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:26
the wrong thing or whatever,

Rich Bennett 35:28
uhm, you

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:28
but,

Rich Bennett 35:28
become

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:29
you know,

Rich Bennett 35:29
what

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:29
but we still, yeah, well you know, we'll get into that, you are what you eat, but I'll tell you something, uhm, I'm big into digestive enzymes,

Rich Bennett 35:38
you're,

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:38
because you need to break down those foods, so I take digestive enzymes with everything I eat, because you aren't, you are not what you eat, you are what you can assimilate, okay?

Rich Bennett 35:48
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:48
So

Rich Bennett 35:48
I,

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:49
you gotta break down that food, you gotta break down, the oil, the fat,

Rich Bennett 35:56
right,

Dr. Bob McCauley 35:56
okay? If you started taking light pays, which isn't, I have like a full spectrum blend of digestive enzymes, so light pays breaks down fat. Now people get, uhm, they get lactose intolerant,

Rich Bennett 36:10
uhm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 36:10
You need lactase to break down that, uhm, that, that molecule into two things, lactose and then galactose, and what happens is you don't have that present anymore, so that, that you, you, uh, you eat some dairy, and so it comes down to the, kinda the colon, and it kinda blocks the colon, so you can't absorb nutrients, and then you end up with diarrhea,

Rich Bennett 36:34
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 36:34
okay? That's lactose intolerant, so, or some people just feel bad, you know, just every time I eat, but if you, if you want to eat, uh, you know, dairy products, take some lactase with it, there's, I, I, I don't sell it by itself, but it's in my, my full spectrum

Rich Bennett 36:51
blend.

Dr. Bob McCauley 36:51
digestive

Rich Bennett 36:51
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 36:52
And so you want to have that with every single meal, so you can break down your proteins, your carbohydrates, you know, all particular foods, your, your, your, your, dairy if you're doing this, your fats, you know, we're, we're, we're, we're, really, one of the most dangerous diets you can even get on these days, it's a really low fat or no fat diet. I mean, these, they, back in the 70s, these, these, these women, especially these models, we had Twiggy, you know,

Rich Bennett 37:22
oh yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 37:23
Yeah, you know, and she skinny is a, and she went on this low fat, no fat diet, and she got really nobody talked about, she got really sick, so you start getting anorexia.

Rich Bennett 37:33
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 37:33
Your body needs fat. Okay, you need fatty, you need fatty acids. Now, you don't need animal fat. You don't need a bunch of crap fat and the stuff they put in, you know, that they haven't, you know, and the fast food joints and that because

Rich Bennett 37:46
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 37:47
that's just going to get into your, that's going to make you fat, okay, because you're not breaking it down. But you really need to break down all these foods into their elementary part so you're lower intestines can absorb the nutrients, and then that's how you get real, real nutrients in your body. But anyway, so I, again, I got it, I got into the foods and then I found out about probiotics, the

Rich Bennett 38:10
here.

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:10
friendly back

Rich Bennett 38:11
Oh yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:11
A friend of mine, she had a yeast infection. And you know, men, they always say women get yeast infection down the vaginal area.

Rich Bennett 38:22
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:22
It's true, there's men get it too, but it tends to come out more in their head, because that's the warmest part of your body, and you see these people that got, like dander from

Rich Bennett 38:33
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:33
hell. I mean, it's like, what's going on? That's usually the yeast that's coming out of their heads,

Rich Bennett 38:38
really

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:38
feeling down. Yeah, and in to be honest with you, you want to stay away from those people because you don't want to start breathing it in. You don't want to get

Rich Bennett 38:46
hand.

Dr. Bob McCauley 38:46
it on your but they're just become so overgrown with, you know, yeast mold and fungus that, you know, both men and women are getting these yeast infections throughout the body. And, you know, it's really, these are the people who live on such a crappy diet because yeast mold fungus. These are recycling agents,

Rich Bennett 39:07
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 39:07
okay? Recycling you back into nature. And so nature is kind of looking at your body and going, you know what? You're really not part of nature. Let's recycle you. And so that's how it happens. And the ultimate recycling agent, of course, is cancer. So it's recycling you back into nature because you become so toxic inside your body that you've created an environment where disease thrives.

Rich Bennett 39:31
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 39:31
So,

Rich Bennett 39:31
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 39:32
you know, I tell people something that you're not going to hear too many people say, but your body can cure itself of any disease and all disease comes from our diet. People eat the wrong kinds of foods and, and, and, you know, people like, you know, you go to the doctor. I've been to the doctor. I usually go from my blood work, but you go there and they go, okay, what, what disease is running your family? Well, you know, grant my dad had a heart attack, my grandma had cancer, you know, and so, okay, that runs in your family. No, dietary habits running in your family. And I'll tell you another thing and you're not going to hear anywhere else. You, you will not ever find chronic disease in the wild. Nobody has ever shot a deer and brought it back and found it full of cancer or, right, any, or any other animal. Our thread is fibromyalgia, high, high diabetes, high blood pressure. These are all with the only species on earth that gets chronic disease, okay. Other than the animals we domesticate and put them

Rich Bennett 40:38
right,

Dr. Bob McCauley 40:39
get food, pupa chow diet, you raise them, eat farmers, depends on how you're raising them, but it's the same thing. Now, infectious infectious disease, right, bacteria, viruses, that's rampant

Rich Bennett 40:56
them.

Dr. Bob McCauley 40:56
throughout Yeah. So, virus is common or infectious diseases. We had one here back, almost have been five years ago with the deer. The deer were getting sick from this virus and they couldn't, but they were dying. One of mine had the, had a deer die right in his pond and it was it was, it was trouble because he had to go get one of the farmers and get that deer out

Rich Bennett 41:19
mouth.

Dr. Bob McCauley 41:19
of

Rich Bennett 41:19
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 41:19
his And bury it, but, but so infectious diseases out there, but not chronic. So, we're, the invention of all these diseases, you will not find a deer with cancer in the wild. And I've asked doctors about that and they just dismiss it. They just, nope, nope. That's not what, that's not what we were taught

Rich Bennett 41:39
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 41:39
in medical school. We were taught this. So, at any rate, you know, I so I began to understand about probiotics, the friendly

Rich Bennett 41:49
bacteria.

Dr. Bob McCauley 41:50
And so, there's a bacteria, there's something called psychomyocytes bulardi. That's the type of yeast. So, there's really, that's a really healthy yeast that works down in your lower colon to, you know, really digest your food and clear it out. If you know, one of the most prominent forms of cancer is colon cancer because that's the most acidic part of your body. So, you're getting down there into that really acid. And people, people get, they get constipated, they don't go to the bathroom every day. I knew a woman back in the day in my old store. She goes, I go to the bathroom once a week.

Rich Bennett 42:26
Once a week?

Dr. Bob McCauley 42:28
Once a week. And I'm going, you're, you're becoming so acidic. Well, she was older, and, and I know, when you look at it, it's very common elderly people. And

Rich Bennett 42:41
I get nervous if I don't go once a day.

Dr. Bob McCauley 42:44
Yeah, yeah, exactly. And that's what it should at least be. You know, everything when you eat something, you want to get into your body, you want to extract the nutrients and then you want it out of there as

Rich Bennett 42:53
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 42:54
soon as possible. So, you know, it's just an absolute and probiotics, so probiotics are there to break down, you know, the help you break down the nutrients and prepare your body for digestion. And to clear out the bad bacteria, the best example is a bacteria called H. Pyallory. Well, that's what causes stomach-cult ulcers. So, this idea that, you know, I eat something and it causes an ulcer. No, this bacteria, you've become polluted down in your stomach and this particular bacteria called H. Pyallory is called Hallibacter as a full name. But H. Pyallory is there and it's gotten in between the stomach and its lining and it's eating a hole through it. And so, when you eat something really acidic, you that really hurts, you know, so it's causing my ulcer. It's just aggravating it. The ulcer is caused by this bacteria, but the probiotic, which I have a full spectrum probiotic that I sell, the probiotic will help you to, you know, kill the bad bacteria because there's lots of H. Pyallory is one example. There's millions of bad bacteria and so we got to get that out of the body and you want to, you know, you want to establish really healthy bacteria in the body and the best examples, you know, lactobacillus is a good, is a friendly bacteria right? Bebifidum or Bepidum, there's, you know, literally hundreds, thousands of millions of type of really healthy bacteria. You know, there's like, there's like about two and a half million types of bacteria in our digestive trial, just the types of bacteria. And we don't know what all of them do, but we know they're not, they're beneficial. They're doing

Rich Bennett 44:53
right,

Dr. Bob McCauley 44:54
you know, and then there's really bad ones like H. Pyallory and there's really serious ones. And you see the outbreaks that we had one with the lettuce,

Rich Bennett 45:03
that

Dr. Bob McCauley 45:03
was, that was, that's a bacteria, okay. I recommend silver for that, but that's, that's another thing I wrote a

Rich Bennett 45:10
silver.

Dr. Bob McCauley 45:12
Yeah, silver will kill any kind of bacteria, yeast, mold fungus, anything in the world. And a lot of these viruses, they live in the blood, like we had the COVID. And what, what I learned, what I learned during COVID, many things, what, one of the things I learned was, don't mention silver and you won't get, you know, demonetized on YouTube. Don't mention infectious diseases and you won't get demonetized on YouTube. So, they just, you know, they just don't want to hear about that. So I can never talk about infectious diseases on YouTube. That's the truth. But, but anyway, so, so I wrote a whole book on that, you know, another long story, but I had meningitis. And I got that from the mosquitoes in Michigan back in 2012. And we get outbreaks of meningitis. That's viral. It's a viral

Rich Bennett 46:06
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 46:06
phone because it's bacterial in virus. So you get meningitis. I didn't know. I had it. And then we also get encephalitis. And that's in the mosquitoes. And we had that, right, honestly, right in the middle of COVID, we had an outbreak of mecephalitis. And we were the number one hot spot for the world, literally, where I am here. Clinton County, Michigan where I was, because I had it in one band.

Rich Bennett 46:33
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 46:33
around the world, one, one, one latitude. And they're going to watch out for these places. And here's the outbreaks that we found Clinton County, Michigan where I was, that's, you know, so

Rich Bennett 46:42
you

Dr. Bob McCauley 46:42
they never told anybody back then, hey, don't go outside.

Rich Bennett 46:45
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 46:46
Get your bug sprayed long sleeves, you know, something. So, and there was a woman that came in. And I mentioned that to her and she goes, oh, my God, she goes, you know, my neighbor died from encephalitis last summer.

Rich Bennett 46:58
Really?

Dr. Bob McCauley 46:58
That's a, that's a 30% mortality, 30% so 30% of the people getting encephalitis, you're gone. And then 21% of the people get meningitis are gone. They're going to die. So, it's mortality. So it's very serious. I've told people that I have meningitis. I've even told medical doctors, you know, just

Rich Bennett 47:19
them,

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:20
seeing

Rich Bennett 47:20
they're

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:21
like, really, you know, I mean, they're like, how are you alive? Most people end up with brain damage, you know,

Rich Bennett 47:27
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:28
But anyway,

Rich Bennett 47:30
serious.

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:30
Yeah. It's serious stuff. Now, COVID was .04% of the people died of COVID. And most of more elderly and they had very weak

Rich Bennett 47:38
cells.

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:38
immune

Rich Bennett 47:38
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 47:39
And it takes a long time to build up your immune system. A lot of people, um, you know, when you look in families, interesting, the oldest person is usually the sickest person in the family. The youngest person, like, ehm, especially if you have like a 12, 10 or 12 kids in a family.

Rich Bennett 47:58
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:07
You're coming home. You're like, oh my God, it's scrubbing the ceiling and everything's sanitary and that okay? By the 12 kids you're like, but I'm on the crib. We didn't even change the crib or the blanket from the last kid, you know We're just getting in there. So they they're exposed all this bacteria and they they just get that immune

Rich Bennett 48:27
system. Yeah

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:28
and I'm gonna tell you something I got two kids there in the 30s now But you know, you really there really is something to be said about creating too clean too sterile of an environment for an infant They need to be exposed

Rich Bennett 48:42
Yes,

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:42
to you know viruses bacteria, you know, you you if

Rich Bennett 48:46
Can't

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:47
they

Rich Bennett 48:47
keep

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:47
get

Rich Bennett 48:47
them in a bubble

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:49
keep them in a bubble. They got their it's like and literally You know, they got the ban on over it. You know, they don't want to take them out there. I want it, you know

Rich Bennett 48:57
They

Dr. Bob McCauley 48:57
and so And then you write, you know, that's kind of that's just an interesting thing to you know exposed children It's usually the youngest that is the

Rich Bennett 49:06
immune.

Dr. Bob McCauley 49:07
strongest

Rich Bennett 49:07
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 49:08
true.

Rich Bennett 49:08
that's

Dr. Bob McCauley 49:08
You know, yeah, and so but and it

Rich Bennett 49:15
Wow, so

Dr. Bob McCauley 49:17
You know, so so any rate I got into the pro vibes, gun of the digestive enzymes and then and then the last thing I really found out about there was about wherever the mid 2000s was minerals. You got to stay mineralized and I do these types of This one just happens to be iodine so I do liquid angstrom so angstrom is the size of the molecule. It's pure this one. This is pure

Pure iodine in in purified water See you take about a cat full or teaspoon put it into your mouth put it under your tongue It goes directly into your bloodstream through your sublingual dog under your tongue

Rich Bennett 49:58
Okay,

Dr. Bob McCauley 49:58
and that's the most effective way To get minerals into your body and you get there's all sorts of different ways. I do sell some I sell electrolytes That's your calcium

Rich Bennett 50:07
medium. Right

Dr. Bob McCauley 50:09
That that's for your you need though those man, ontania magnesium for the heart That is your number one mineral number two is iodine but um, you know, I always tell people Minerals are the keys to start the engine of our health. So every physiological

Process of the body depends on a mineral and magnesium for your heart beat. That's why every time you hear that heartbeat That's

Rich Bennett 50:36
Mm-hmm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 50:38
magnesium burning. That's your bite when you have a heart attack the first thing they do is they go into the first thing they do rich is they put you on if you have a right going to the house But they put you on a magnesium drip they know

Rich Bennett 50:52
Uh-huh

Dr. Bob McCauley 50:53
right away. It's the first thing they do and And any any nurse or every you know any doctor will tell you the same thing. Yeah Yeah, you're right, you know, they never really thought

Rich Bennett 51:05
it

Dr. Bob McCauley 51:05
about

Rich Bennett 51:06
right

Dr. Bob McCauley 51:06
The electrolytes, your sodium super important. They tell you hey, don't eat salt. Well, don't eat that table salt and Morton crap They put so many bind, but you know anti-caking agents

Rich Bennett 51:17
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 51:18
They put a bunch of crap remember the old Morton. Hey, you get pores in the rain Yeah, of course it does you put a bunch of anti-caking crap in there and you have pores in the rain It doesn't it doesn't get moist.

Rich Bennett 51:33
You know look where it does to a slug

Dr. Bob McCauley 51:35
Yeah, yeah, and so

Rich Bennett 51:37
I see something like that. I don't want to eat it

Dr. Bob McCauley 51:40
exactly exactly Yeah

so but anyway, you know sodium super important I mean we without sodium we'd become a jellyfish overnight You know, we were just just kind of and so

sodium potassium for the brain, you know magnesium There's all these electrolytes that's what you know you want it quite honestly you want those and especially in the morning I take a lot, you know I take my magnesium in the morning, but I always get my electrolytes throughout the day And I take them before I work out and if you know if you're like you're a runner Whether it's in high school or anytime take a little bit of electrolytes right before your race You find they that's what they put in Gatorade

Rich Bennett 52:24
so

Dr. Bob McCauley 52:25
except Gatorade is crap, you know There's a lot healthier ways to get help is stuff in your body than food

Rich Bennett 52:32
right

Dr. Bob McCauley 52:32
color

Rich Bennett 52:33
Yeah

Dr. Bob McCauley 52:33
dies than that stuff, but uh, that's the point of the gatorie, is to get the minerals back into your body, in particular, the calcium, the magnesium, the potassium that you need for that conductivity within your blood, you know, it's moving your things are there.

Um, that's my full spectrum blend, so that's got all the different minerals, and I'll tell you a few, and you can't, it's hard to get that what I realize when I got tested for minerals, they're like, oh, you're low on all these minerals, and I'm like, hey, I'm on a crazy diet, I'm super healthy, how could I miss all these men? It's hard to get them from foods, even if you're growing your organic foods from your diet, your, your, your garden, I mean, and, and you're eating that and everything. You know, you just can't get, now, the three of the best examples are gold, so you need gold for your brain, and that gold will help you do brain regulation, sleep regulation, and, um, and dreaming. So you'll remember your dreams when you take gold, like you take a little gold, you're taking a very small amount, again, you're taking that teaspoon, but you're just getting almost no, you know, little bit of gold is a little tiny gold, and that will really help brain regulation. Now another one is, indium, indium is the pineal gland, indium is in the center of the brain. That's another metal, right? It's it's a mineral, it's a metallic mineral,

Rich Bennett 54:13
right?

Dr. Bob McCauley 54:13
That pineal gland, that's in the center of the brain, people say that is your, you know, that's your spiritual, you know, connection, it produces melatonin, it doesn't, it, it looks, it looks at light, like if it's light, it won't produce melatonin. If it's dark, okay, it'll produce melatonin.

Rich Bennett 54:33
Right?

Dr. Bob McCauley 54:34
And it goes on that rhythm. Well, that's your pineal gland, and that can become calcified or coated even with fluoride, and, um, and so you want, it's only about that big, the pineal gland, super important. This is a gland, not your thyroid, which they love, the doctors love taking this out. I love to take that, they take up 15 seconds with radiation to take out your thyroid. They just, it's gone.

Rich Bennett 55:01
Wow,

Dr. Bob McCauley 55:01
And, uh, you need that. Yeah, it's very common. Um, and I've had people come in my store, I had my thyroid removed. Well, iodine helped. Well, you know, you, you lost your thyroid. I mean, will it help you out? I, iodine has 400 uses in the body, and clue is really important for the brain, but it's the thyroid, it's

Rich Bennett 55:23
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 55:23
your metabolism. You see people, these young kids that are so fat, see, they're fat, because they get no iodine at all. These chubby, you know, they're not, they're sitting there looking at the screen and playing games. That's

Rich Bennett 55:36
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 55:36
number one. If we got some, there's something called the outside. Okay, and you go outside and play, and that'll burn calories, you know, and

Rich Bennett 55:43
the

Dr. Bob McCauley 55:43
that

Rich Bennett 55:44
vitamins, too.

Dr. Bob McCauley 55:45
yeah, you get sunlight vitamin D. I could go on an hour with vitamin D and and how important that is you can get that from the sunlight. And there's all sorts of, there's all sorts of different times of the day. That the sun is doing something for your body, you know, the UV time, maybe it's cloudy, it's in the evening, you know, so anybody will tell you and I'll tell you, go outside, get some sunlight every day, get your sense.

Rich Bennett 56:10
Yeah. And

Dr. Bob McCauley 56:11
And it's supposed, yeah, oh, fresh air, I mean, that's another one sitting inside the boxes, we live in a world of boxes, we

Rich Bennett 56:18
yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 56:18
go from, you know, especially down in Phoenix, when it's 110, they go from box to box, they go into the store, it's a box, they go in their cars of box, everything's, they do not go outside. You know, it's just too hot. So, so, but, you know, we got to avoid that. And that's why, you know, you got to get out and get some, you know, exercise, which, by the way, that goes to, so number five is my minerals and how important my minerals are,

Rich Bennett 56:45
right

Dr. Bob McCauley 56:46
for the body because everyone, like I said, oh, and by the way, last one is for the brain, okay, platinum. So

Rich Bennett 56:53
platinum

Dr. Bob McCauley 56:53
platinum is another one platinum need the brains needs platinum. So platinum and you're not talking a lot. I've got some probably. Yeah, there's my platinum. See,

Rich Bennett 57:05
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 57:06
And, and you're just taking a teaspoon a day, that's all you need, hold it into your mouth as long, long as you can, it's, it's a great way to shut people up, you know, just, hey, you put this in your mouth, them. Be quiet for five minutes, please. And, and, you know, it's a great way to do this. It's kind of an excuse, you can, right, so, so. So you know about platinum for brain activity in particular, so I take that one in the morning and I I've got blends of minerals that I got a morning blend and afternoon right So they don't interfere minerals can interfere with each other like

Rich Bennett 57:42
I was gonna ask you about that

Dr. Bob McCauley 57:44
yeah, yeah, yeah, they really Copper and zinc are the best example. They're right next to each other on the periodic table go look them up There's like like literally one one is Identical to the other, but one's got one less miss one less of the weight I don't want to say one less molecule, but what the weight of it is a little bit less

Rich Bennett 58:05
right

Dr. Bob McCauley 58:05
and they so your body gets confused it says wow is that is that cop is that zinc and you need zinc

Rich Bennett 58:12
And

Dr. Bob McCauley 58:12
and eat copper and So they do different things in the body and but so that's why don't don't take your zinc Wait a few hours and then take your copper,

Rich Bennett 58:23
okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 58:24
So I break them out into groups or you can just do full spectrum I got them all once you know people want to you know do something and go so at least you're getting your basic minerals But like I said, there's 26 of them There's some that are I think that are much more important for the body But they're all doing something maledum and people never heard of that one. What's that doing cobalt now cobalt Cobalt is okay. That's how you make vitamin

Rich Bennett 58:50
B12 yeah so

Dr. Bob McCauley 58:52
people will say hey, I got to have um you know meet for vitamin B12

Well, what you need is all an animal is doing is taking cobalt and Bacteria and making vitamin B12 that's how the body does it it does it an animal and it does it in a human So I don't have I don't think I have cobalt but I I always take it every day it's in my full spectrum But But I always have my friendly bacteria. But that's what it's doing. So it's bacteria and cobalt and that's why as an example or a little tip There's two types of back vitamin B12 The market you really need

Rich Bennett 59:44
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 59:44
your B12. I mean you you can go blind without it if your balance isn't right You know, I mean it's you know B12 deficiency

And it does a lot of things is very of all the B vitamins is the most important B6 for the brain B5 for the right, but B12 does so many things but there's cyanocobalmin and then there's methylcobalmin well methylcobalmin is natural That's what you get your body produces that or you can get from eating meat or you could supplement with it methyl right And then there's side cyanocobalmin that's cyanide That's a cyanide so you got to take that cyanide you got to break off that molecule get rid of it because it's an incredibly strong poison Yeah

yeah, yeah You got to get rid of it. So stay away from anything called cyanocobalmin and They get rid of that and then take methylcobalmin if you get a supplement otherwise Supplement with cobalt and bacteria. I have a product that has you know You kind of buy some probiotic and you buy cobalt and that'll make your B12 But that's so that's one of the more important ones so and then you know We've gone a while here. So but I don't want to forget another no number six on my protocol is Exercise

Rich Bennett 1:01:02
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:01:02
and

Rich Bennett 1:01:02
yes,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:01:02
we talked about you guys to get out there and hike. I'm a workout fanatic I I just like it. I got a whole gym in my basement

Rich Bennett 1:01:10
Liptical

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:01:11
I've got a climber. I've got a I've got a full workout machine. The thing is like it caused me like four grand I mean you could do every single You know muscle in the body right But a guy that I interviewed years and years ago

Was a guy a little come to me you probably know the name But he he was always like you got to get out and exercise every every single day and and you know you're 650 mile muscles in your body and he got to work those out and And and and he was so right about that and he was one of these he had a he had a television show back in the 50s If I said his name you'd recognize it, but he was the first guy and the women would sit there and go Yeah, I got the TV. I'm I'm exercising

Rich Bennett 1:01:59
Was that Jack?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:02:02
Jack? Elaine

Rich Bennett 1:02:04
Jack Elaine Elaine yeah

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:02:04
Jack Elaine. I had him on my show. What a great guy. He was in his 90s when I talked to him He died in his 90.

Rich Bennett 1:02:11
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:02:11
and his wife died over 100 Wow

Rich Bennett 1:02:14
Hmm

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:02:16
And he was he was a health fanatic and he he would do the raw juices and everything like that But I had a my show he was so kind. He was such a great guy.

Rich Bennett 1:02:24
Yeah

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:02:25
so, so, but daily vigorous exercise. Get out there and where you're breathing. Yeah. You don't need to be dying. You don't need to be, you know, you can't if you want. Yeah. I'm a runner. So.

Yeah, get the heart rate up. Get your blood cleansed through the circulation. Get the organs cleansed with all the blood going through it. It'll keep you sharp up here. Okay. You know, there's a book called Spark and there's a few books like this out there, but it tells you like, he goes, you look at any athlete in high school or even college and especially ones that are in the sports. They're always smarter than they have better grades and some of them let their grades slide because they're too busy with the sports, but there's a huge connection between exercise and brain activity. That's why it's called Spark. And it's written by, by the way, by a medical doctor, Spark.

Rich Bennett 1:03:37
Oh, really?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:03:38
Yeah, I've read that book years and years ago. And so, but it'll tell you there's a huge connection. Of course, there's a huge connection between the brain and the stomach. They call the stomach the second brain. But there's a huge connection between physical exercise where you're breathing and you're moving and you get this pretty much daily thing, not just once a month, but you know day in and day out. You only need 15, 20

Rich Bennett 1:04:05
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:04:05
minutes. If you're not doing it, it's just, you know, you just don't want to spend the 15, 20 minutes. You'll make time for what's important. And, and, and, and so you got to get, you got to get out there and you got to exercise every day. So daily, vigorous exercise, and then positive mental out too.

Rich Bennett 1:04:23
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:04:23
And that's number seven. You got to stay positive. If you're negative, like I told you about my friend, Hiya Watha,

Rich Bennett 1:04:30
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:04:30
I mean, she was just like, you know, they'd walk up to her. Did you hear about Zoe and Zoe? Maybe I'd happen to him and she would just start talking about the leaves and the color of the leaves and how what a beautiful day it is. You know, she was a Christian woman. She she had this, and that's why everyone loved this woman. You could not say anything negative to her. She would just ignore you. She wouldn't go, I'm gonna don't do this. And that she just would just change the subject. You know, she would do that. Yeah, she was just through. Oh, she was, oh my God. I mean, she was just an amazing person.

Rich Bennett 1:05:01
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:05:02
The older woman, but she had it. She knew that positive. So I always say, you know, and I don't care if it's your prayer life or, you know, just staying positive. But, but if you do everything else, I say you're sick, you're healthy. If this is against you, you're gonna fail. And you can't do it with this alone, you know, like, you know, I've got cancer. I'm gonna be positive. That's great, but then you need to change your diet.

Rich Bennett 1:05:25
yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:05:25
Okay, that's my opinion. Change your diet and stop eating the crap and you gotta stop doing this. If you have any disease, but if you're really looking to beat it in the end, stay positive. I mean, and that's to it. And then we, you know, we all have challenges and all that kind of stuff. But, you know, I always tell people, the most important thing in life, this is just my first opinion. Most important life, if thing in life is your relationship with God

Rich Bennett 1:05:49
sure

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:05:49
and making

Rich Bennett 1:05:50
yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:05:50
know him and he knows you. And number two is your health. And so what about my family? It was like, how can you take care of your family

Rich Bennett 1:05:58
if you're not, if you're not healthy exactly.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:05:59
hmm. Yeah, you become a liability. You need to be an asset, you know, they always tell you like the plane's going down and put on the ox's your mask

Rich Bennett 1:06:08
Mm

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:09
and then and then put yours on first and then do your kids or grandma or whatever next year they all because if you're trying to help your kid and then you pass out, well, you're both going

Rich Bennett 1:06:19
to yourself

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:20
and yeah. Yeah. So you take care yourself and then you can help your friends and your family and you can be the rock and you can be the one in the family or the friends or whatever. They always going out

Rich Bennett 1:06:32
plus

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:32
and

Rich Bennett 1:06:32
you're

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:32
you know

Rich Bennett 1:06:33
setting a

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:33
and you're

Rich Bennett 1:06:33
good example.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:34
Yeah. Yeah. You're setting a good example. That's exactly right. So take care of yourself. Take care of your health and then you can, you know, always help out everybody around you and be It's your best, you know?

We're talking about retirement. I mean, it's like I don't know what I'd do with myself. We're retired, but you can go down to Florida and be on the beach. Okay, that would be what I've been on the beach many, many times

Rich Bennett 1:06:56
Not for

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:06:56
that that would that would last a day, you know, you could go hiking. Well, I love to hike. I was out in up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, man, you want to talk about hiking while they got to try. But I mean, you go out there all day long and do that. But I mean, I don't want to retire to go hike.

Rich Bennett 1:07:12
business.

No.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:07:13
I want to keep telling people like about health and bill. I build my brand and show people stuff. I'm the largest importer of Clorall and Spiruleen in the US. And from Taiwan, I get the best from Taiwan. You can get it from a few different places in the world, but Taiwan's the best. And, you know, I always tell people, hey, I started out in my basement. I just kept going and going and going and refusing to stop. And, you know, day in and day out.

Rich Bennett 1:07:40
I'm amazed by everything that you mentioned. Because I had no idea about, well, Clorall and Spiruleena.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:07:49
Yeah, Spiruleena, Spiruleena, say it rose in like a spiral.

Rich Bennett 1:07:53
Okay,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:07:54
I tell you now,

Rich Bennett 1:07:54
Silver, gold is like,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:07:57
yeah,

Rich Bennett 1:07:57
what the? I had no

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:07:58
yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:07:59
idea. And which means that I need to, because most of these are supplements. But you said some of the stuff you can add to your meals. And this is something I definitely need to look into now.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:14
Yeah. Yeah. You take the powder. I mean, they make chocolate cake and then they put a blue frosting and it's a Spiruleena. I don't do it that way, but people, it's a beautiful color.

Rich Bennett 1:08:26
You

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:27
know, and they take and so and then there's Spiruleena. So Spiruleena is a kind of a blue green algae. Clorall is more green, more

Rich Bennett 1:08:36
right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:37
You know, I think Clorall is a little more powerful.

Rich Bennett 1:08:40
So apparently I've been eating the wrong grass.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:44
Right. Right.

Rich Bennett 1:08:45
Gotcha.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:46
Oh, matcha is great.

Rich Bennett 1:08:48
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:48
Fantastic. I don't don't stop that. I like matcha.

Rich Bennett 1:08:51
What about Moringa?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:53
Yeah. Oh, Moringa's amazing. I got some right here.

Rich Bennett 1:08:55
Okay,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:08:55
Moringa's amazing stuff. I mean, that's another one. See, but they're way down. They're nothing compared to Spiruleena and Clorall. So I take Moringa almost every single day. Matcha's fantastic stuff.

Rich Bennett 1:09:09
be

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:09

Rich Bennett 1:09:09
poly.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:09
lot of antioxidants in matcha, matcha tea. It's been around. It came out. It came out about 15 years ago. I mean, it's always been there,

Rich Bennett 1:09:17
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:17
but it got really popular. You know, I go to the exposed natural products that exposed like matcha. It was everywhere. So that became real popular. But so, yeah. We fresh juice. That's great.

Rich Bennett 1:09:29
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:30
You know, get one of those. Well, I love that. It's fresh. You know, I don't like the frozen stuff. Although, that's okay. You can get them little frozen cubes. But you go into jambaduce and get one of those. So grind that out. Or, you know, of course, it's grass. And you know, we always say talk about weak grass. There's like 30,000 different types of grass.

Rich Bennett 1:09:50
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:51
And you can, you can eat all those grasses. There's not, you can eat the grass in your front yard.

Rich Bennett 1:09:55
It's amazing.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:56
You,

Rich Bennett 1:09:56
The stuff

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:09:57
yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:09:57
that grows out of your earth, which you can eat.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:10:00
Yeah. Well, there's a guy that I used to know. And I still, I still know Peter Ragnar. And he was like, he would, he would tell people like, okay, you're in, you're in New York City. And now you have a breakdown. There's no food. He goes, there's food everywhere in New York.

Rich Bennett 1:10:16
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:10:16
It's growing out of the cracks. It's growing out of the cracks of the sidewalk. It's not the kind of stuff you're going to think, oh, there's, there's dinner, you know, but it's there.

Rich Bennett 1:10:24
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:10:24
You know, so if you had a forage in an emergency, right? Yeah. There's no food. And, you know, every big city, it's got about three days of food that, that, that before, before, uh, three, a supply of three days before the truck stop running, you're going to that, that's big city, especially, I used to live in New York. And so, that's an island. So

Rich Bennett 1:10:45
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:10:45
they don't, you know, the, the trucks got to come in every day to, you know, because you know, there's, there's no farms on men

Rich Bennett 1:10:52
now.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:10:52
And that I can't put, you know, it wasn't many years ago, but, um, but you got central park. But you could go up to Central Park and eat all the grass, you know, you know, you don't want to get the stuff that's been sprayed with chemicals, but,

Rich Bennett 1:11:04
or where the horse went.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:06
Yeah. Oh, yeah. Exactly. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:11:07
Yeah. Then to get all of it, that's probably healthier for you than where they sprayed the chemicals.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:12
Yeah. Well, it's healthier than the McDonald's. I'll give you

Rich Bennett 1:11:14
Uh,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:15
a, yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:11:15
yeah. I'm, that's a one thing I do not miss, because when I used to do sales, I was on the road all the time. Always eating.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:22
Yeah. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:11:24
I do not miss it. What's so ever.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:28
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:11:29
And bs. David will give it all.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:32
Yeah. Yeah. That's another thing I grew up on that. We always, McDonald's was a different kind of thing back then.

Rich Bennett 1:11:37
Yeah. Uh,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:38
We, we had other places, we had burgers chef and hamburger heaven and it's always that, you know, it was a little better,

Rich Bennett 1:11:44
uh-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:45
But, I mean, what, what these places have turned into now, uh, these fast food places, you know, and I always tell people know the source of your

Rich Bennett 1:11:56
food. Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:11:57
Okay, and if you think, you know, when you buy that, I don't, I don't eat almost nothing out of our box or jar or cam. And if you think, these days, especially, if you think you know what's in that box, pizza, or that can,

Rich Bennett 1:12:10
uh-hmm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:12:11
or or whatever, you know, you really don't know, it might be okay and- but it's been processed foods put into a car, can a jar or whatever. It might be okay. It might be organic, you know, I'd go for more of the organic. But know the source of your food,

Rich Bennett 1:12:25
yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:12:26
even the Spirilline and Clorella. I mean, uhm, don't get your stuff from China because their mess, I've been over there and I've seen them. They, they, they, they're not, they don't produce a good product. Taiwan's got the best. India's not bad for Spirillina. India's

Rich Bennett 1:12:42
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:12:42
pretty

Rich Bennett 1:12:42
Soup

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:12:42
good. It's grown and it's grown in kind of in Hawaii. Spirilline is pretty expensive because everything, you don't really need to get it from Hawaii. They grow it a little bit in California. It's just too expensive to really grow. But Taiwan's got the best. But I, I've been there to the plants. I've been to the companies. I know them personally. I know, you know, I know what, how they grow and I know like I've

Rich Bennett 1:13:03
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:03
done. You know that. So I know the source of my food and, and, and know where your foods coming from. And don't go down to your chicken joint and think you get your chicken burger and think you know what's in that chicken burger. You know, I think it's, I think it's Chick-fil-A. There's like 52 ingredients in that chicken. Well, what 52? I thought it was chicken. Well, like 52 ingredients. What, what are

Rich Bennett 1:13:27
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:27
all ingredients, you know, so

Rich Bennett 1:13:29
well, look at many of them are, you know, you go to the grocery store to buy a chicken. Always look to see how and it will tell you injected with a, um, saving solution.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:41
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:13:42
So why?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:44
Yeah. What?

Rich Bennett 1:13:45
What are you hiding from

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:46
What's,

Rich Bennett 1:13:47
me?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:47
what's going on there?

Rich Bennett 1:13:48
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:48
You see the videos of other injecting them with things

Rich Bennett 1:13:51
Yep.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:13:51
and, well, that's to keep them fresh. What I tell people, I'm kind of pretty much vegan, but I tell people, um, you know what, go to your local farmer.

Rich Bennett 1:14:03
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:04
And buy your meat. And that's where I've got a list of them, right?

Rich Bennett 1:14:08
Mm-hmm.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:08
And they're in the area. You see them at the farmer's markets, but you know that this guy, um, You grow, you know him the shafers, the millers,

Rich Bennett 1:14:20
yep.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:21
whoever, you know, the, the, the conkelands and they know this farm. And there's a guy in my church, he goes, he's got the, um, you know, right? He does the beef and the chicken and the eggs. And, um, any, you know, I, I don't need eggs anymore. My wife does, but I mean, I go get the farm, farm fresh eggs from somebody in the country. And you, you know, you look at that yoke. It's like orange.

Rich Bennett 1:14:45
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:46
And then

Rich Bennett 1:14:46
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:46
you look at that stuff in the store. It's not orange. It's kind of yellow. You know.

Rich Bennett 1:14:51
I'm, you're going to pay more money if you get from somebody local, but it's worth it. And you know where it's coming from.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:57
it. Right. Know the source know the,

Rich Bennett 1:14:59
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:14:59
you know these people and you know, and it's going to cost a little more. Yeah. Okay. What, what's

Rich Bennett 1:15:04
it's

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:04
your help?

Rich Bennett 1:15:04
worth

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:04
Don't put a price on your health.

Rich Bennett 1:15:06
Thank you for saying that. I tell that to people all the time. You

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:10
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:15:10
cannot put a price on your health. That's why, you know, when you talk to people, it's cost too much money to eat healthy. Doesn't it really? No, it doesn't. You'll be here

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:25
Yeah, yeah. And you know, we both know you can't take it with you.

Rich Bennett 1:15:29
longer now.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:29
And can't take it with you. All your, all your wealth. Yeah. And not to mention, you're saving money, but it's, it's the quickest way to disease.

Rich Bennett 1:15:39
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:39
Like, I and I is watered. i mean, i'd rather go to the bathroom 1000 times and go have to go to the doctor once and that's the healthiest thing you can do is keep your body

Rich Bennett 1:15:51
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:15:51
hydrated. That's what you want and uhm.

Rich Bennett 1:16:04
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:16:13
you

Rich Bennett 1:16:13
Mm-hmm,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:16:14
know, worry about what you're going to put into your body and that's a good example they got hydrogen water now that's another whole different show we could do on hydrogen water. But, uhm, because that's the most, one of the most important hydrogens, small of the molecule, first molecule on the periodic table and one of the most needed nutrients,

Rich Bennett 1:16:32
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:16:32
but body is hydrogen. So we've kind of figured that out. I mean, I'm telling you, we know so much more, uhm, you know, and we have access like you were saying, 'Murringa'. I mean, Meringa, I hadn't heard of my Meringa, about eight years ago,

Rich Bennett 1:16:48
years

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:16:48
ten

Rich Bennett 1:16:48
ago, yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:16:49
And in India, they're just eating it off of the tree, it's tree leaf. And they're just eating it on their way to school and they just all eat this Meringa all the time. You know, so it's common to them but we don't have Meringa trees so we never heard of that. And uhm, and so uhm, you know, that's why you really see, we just don't grow up on that.

Rich Bennett 1:17:13
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:17:13
And you know, the idea of foraging and going out on your hikes and saying, well, here's a little berry. And you got to know what you're doing, you don't want to grab the wrong thing but, yeah, it can make you quite ill. But, but you know, one of my friends, he's big into hiking and out in New Mexico, I told you Santa Fe. And you know, he knows what, oh, they're going to get that cactus, yeah. Yeah, eat that one. You know, eat this little thing over here. We all know about this. We know about this berry from this tree. And so he knows which ones to

Rich Bennett 1:17:45
them.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:17:45
take

Rich Bennett 1:17:45
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:17:46
But, you know, you get these experts. So, but anyway, I mean, I go out and get, um, uh, lambs quarter. And you look up lambs quarter, you'll see that stuff. And that's another weed and, uh, like, dandelions, a weed. I actually, I wait all year, for dandelions season. Dandelions, fantastic. I buy the leaves during the

Rich Bennett 1:18:10
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:18:10
winter. I mean, so cheap. They get them in the store. What, what do people do with that? Usually they cook them. I just put them in my salads. But they were brought here by the Dutch as a food, and they just ended up spreading all over the United States. So, you know, so they're like a weed while they're like a weed. But, you know, and another one is you look it up lambs quarter. Uh, it's super healthy food. And that kind of likes to grow in areas that have been disturbed like in other words, maybe, maybe you fix some some of your sidewalk or you had to do something in your yard. You'll see these. These little things popping up and they'll get big, you know, and everything. But I'm telling you, man. And they're kind of look white in the center. Well, that's all this calcium. When you take that, take it off. There's there's, um, you've got to make sure you go look it up. If you don't know what it is, lambs quarter. But it's just a good example. You're going to find that in your yard. I've seen it

Rich Bennett 1:19:03

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:19:03
all.

Rich Bennett 1:19:03
think I have that in my yard.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:19:05
Yeah. It's very kind. It's like almost dandelion. It's a good, just people don't know what is it. And, um, but like it likes disturbed soil. So in other words, you did some construction or you built something it

Rich Bennett 1:19:18
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:19:18
likes these areas that doesn't have competition. But it'll show up in your garden. Another one is Purcellain go look at that up. Purcellain as mentioned in the Bible, but that one is this little, um, little kind of fatty crawly thing or what you're going to call kind of crawls on the ground

Rich Bennett 1:19:37
Right

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:19:37
grows. all over the place. There's a couple of ones that look just like it. They're okay. But Purcellain you go look it up. It's a fatter one. Well, it's super healthy. It's got the fatty acids in it. And you'll see it. I got some up front of my store now. We got a nice garden in front of my store. My my my secretary has helped me put that in and you just see this personally and all over the place. And it just comes. It's kind of got a is if you get it in your hand, you feel it kind of gets oily. Like

Rich Bennett 1:20:06
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:07
Purcellain is a big amount of fat, but that's another one. That's that that stuff is all over the place. And so there's

Rich Bennett 1:20:13
do

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:13
always

Rich Bennett 1:20:13
what we could find in our yards that we can.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:15
In our yards and just right outside the door. And to really help us like I'm always going out getting down the line

Rich Bennett 1:20:22
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:22
greens and. And bringing them in and I put them in my salad because I mean, there it is. I don't spray my yard with anything. So there it is fresh organic or the underlying greens. You know, I didn't cultivate it, but you know, just out there wild and.

Rich Bennett 1:20:37
I had an old neighbor that used to do do that all the time. We've picked the Dandy Lines, but he

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:42
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:20:42
used it to make Dandy Lying Wine.

That's

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:47
one of the most common things I had. One guy grew up with his father was always making the Dandy Lying

Rich Bennett 1:20:53
Wine. Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:54
And, uh, I don't know what I can't say I've had any.

Rich Bennett 1:20:57
I've never tried it.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:20:59
Yeah. I don't know if it's the taste or whatever, but it's pretty common. Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:21:04
Yeah. I don't know if I, well, I don't want to say I'll never try it because if somebody officer to me, I would try it.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:11
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:21:11
You don't know if you're going to lick

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:12
I'm sure it's pretty drinkable.

Rich Bennett 1:21:14
it. Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:15
I'm a wine guy. I used to be a beer guy, but I'm more of a, I like a white wine, so

Rich Bennett 1:21:20
alive.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:20
I keep it

Rich Bennett 1:21:21
Okay.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:22
I might have a glass, you know, I don't usually have to. Maybe some sparkling wine type, but that's about it, you know. So I don't really, you know, get to stay away from the hardlakers, especially when you get older, watch that stuff. My, my friend, my friend's, uh, uh, not brandy. I'll think of it. It kind of kind of a kind of a whiskey.

Rich Bennett 1:21:46
Oh, bourbon,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:48
Bourbon.

Rich Bennett 1:21:48
yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:21:49
He's an expert at the bourbon. He's got, he's got 120 bottles of bourbon. He's got this one and that one and this one. And a lot of them, he goes, I'll never touch this section. This is my, my, I don't know why, but he wants this. He loves this stuff and he's an expert, you know, a Ryan whiskey or this whiskey. So, um, you know, but anyway, that can be a little hard on the liver, but, but yeah, he's a real, he's

Rich Bennett 1:22:14
I, I suppose you're drinking a lot because I'm, I'm actually a bourbon steward. And I,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:21
oh,

Rich Bennett 1:22:22
yeah. I will only,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:25
if

Rich Bennett 1:22:26
I have any,

maybe on a Friday night or Saturday night, like a two finger porn, that's it.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:35
Yeah, that's what he does.

Rich Bennett 1:22:36
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:37
and he's

Rich Bennett 1:22:37
And,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:37
always like, he's always got the notes.

Rich Bennett 1:22:39
Oh, yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:40
yeah. Yeah. It's got this note and that note and he, one of his friends come over. This is sometimes a drink and they don't sit there and drink too much, but he's like, well, I taste vanilla.

Rich Bennett 1:22:48
Well,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:22:49
he's very easy. No. So,

Rich Bennett 1:22:50
and the funny thing is because I used to, oh my god, I used to drink beer like it was water. It was crazy. Um, but when I got into bourbon, I found out that like a two ounce pour would take me an hour to drink.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:04
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:23:04
Because I'm just, you know, it's the smallest and you're smelling it just like

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:08
wine.

Rich Bennett 1:23:08
a Yeah. And you just take your time.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:12
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:23:12
And it tastes good. But anyways, that, that's a whole nother podcast. Dr. Bob, something very important. Tell everybody your website, how they can get in touch with you.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:20
Oh, uh, well, uh, is, is Dr. Biomacallie.com, D R B O B m c C. A U L E Y. Dr. Biomacallie.com. Uh, all my books are on Amazon. Um, you can get them on my website, but they're in Amazon. You look up, Biomacallie, N D, uh, nature path, that just N D, um, a lot of, most of them are unaudible, so you could listen to my books.

Rich Bennett 1:23:44
Good.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:45
I read them in my own voice. Um, yeah, I was always trying to reach out to people. I'm on Instagram, same thing, Dr. Biomacallie.com, Instagram. I'm on Facebook and all those, all those. But again, um, X, I'm on X.

Rich Bennett 1:23:58
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:23:59
Just, you look up, Dr. Biomacallie.

Rich Bennett 1:24:01
You'll do fine. You,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:03
fine. They'll find me. I'm always trying to, you know, I mean, that's what these Instagram young people.

Rich Bennett 1:24:09
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:10
These young people, they're on Instagram. I mean, I'm a, I'm a big YouTube guy. So I've got probably five, I've got five hundred and fifty, six hundred videos by now on YouTube. So

Rich Bennett 1:24:21
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:21
I'm, I've been doing that for many, many years. So I'm big on YouTube, and I try to get as many, you know, videos on there and shorts and all that. And then I'm working to get on Tik Tok because that's another one. They're all on Tik Tok and they're all on Instagram. And at least I'm getting away from the garbage.

Rich Bennett 1:24:39
Yes,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:40
they can see something healthy and they might subscribe to me and go, yeah, okay, there's another good tip. I mean, I tell you learn, you

Rich Bennett 1:24:46
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:46
saw, but.

Rich Bennett 1:24:47
Exactly.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:48
and

Rich Bennett 1:24:48
Exactly.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:24:48
just

one last thing I'll tell people, you know, health is a habit, not an event. You gotta be day in, day out,

Rich Bennett 1:25:00
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:00
make it part of your lifestyle. That's how you really, that's how I became healthy. I made it part of my lifestyle. You can't help. It can happen on Wednesday after four. It has to be daily, you know, it

Rich Bennett 1:25:11
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:12
has to be day in and day out. And then you, you know, you just get it. You get used to it. And then pretty soon. You know, you go and eat down to one of the fast food joints and you have some a burger or something fried or what, and you go, I don't feel so good. You know, and your body telling you something, I don't like this. You have a nice big salad or you eat some mangoes or you eat some, but in your body says, Hey, that's pretty good. And your body will become, you know, it knows everything.

Rich Bennett 1:25:37
Your body will love you more.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:38
Yeah, yeah, it will. And it tells you, if you listen to it,

Rich Bennett 1:25:42
Yes.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:42
but people, it's like, it's like water. People just, your body is crying out

Rich Bennett 1:25:47
what.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:47
for And all the time, every meta physical process of our body, depends on water, water, water, and the right kind of water. People out of people say, water is water. It's not.

Rich Bennett 1:25:59
No.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:25:59
There's many different types of water, but it's this habit. So I get up in the morning, big, tall glass of water, been doing it. I've been

Rich Bennett 1:26:06
Should

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:07
doing.

Rich Bennett 1:26:07
be the first thing you drink in the morning.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:09
yeah, you get up. You want water. It's the best time to it'll hide it'll wake you up because

Rich Bennett 1:26:15
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:15
it hydrates your brain. You've been sitting there for eight hours or laying there, sleeping. And so you're totally dehydrated and it'll get the whole thing moving and you'll feel is it wakes you up and it's, it's that healthy, you know, thing that that everybody needs. Everybody needs that. And so but it's all habits.

Rich Bennett 1:26:35
Yeah,

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:35
And you know, like I don't eat till noon, it's a habit. I've been doing that for 20 years now. And you know, I just feel better.

Rich Bennett 1:26:43
right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:43
I might, you know sometimes, you know, Hey, everybody's over. We're going to go for breakfast. Go for breakfast. But I mean, it's for me. The daily habit is this, but health is a habit.

Rich Bennett 1:26:52
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:53
You get into doing it and doing it. And then you like we all do you stray away from it. Your body says, hey, you know, OK, I can tolerate

Rich Bennett 1:26:59
Gotta

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:26:59
that.

Rich Bennett 1:27:00
get back into the routine.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:27:01
Yeah, don't, don't, yeah, don't, don't go too far here. But anyway, listen, I really appreciate you have me on the rich and

Rich Bennett 1:27:08
Oh, it was, it was my pleasure. I learned a lot, but I need you to pick a court pick a question, the final question. So I need you to pick a number between one and five.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:27:19
I'm going to go with

Rich Bennett 1:27:20
Number

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:27:20

Rich Bennett 1:27:21
five, all right, now I need you to pick a number. I'm going to get that to five block first. Now I need you to pick a number between 81 and 100.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:27:31
99,

Rich Bennett 1:27:37
99, you know what this, this in a way goes with what we've been talking about. If you could eliminate one source of stress from your life, what would it be?

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:27:49
One source of stress worrying about worrying worrying about anything, you know, there's a great saint. I think he's cast like podry P. O. And he said,

this big thing, pray, hope, don't worry. Don't worry. You're not going to change. You're all your worrying. My mother used to say that worry. She was spoke French.

Rich Bennett 1:28:13
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:14
Okay, English worry. Pa means no, don't worry. worry. Pa. So stop worrying. Just don't. And that's, that's the strategy because you can't do anything about it. You can plan. You can strategize. That's one thing, but worrying about something, you know, fretting.

Rich Bennett 1:28:28
What

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:29
can you do about that? And then I guess number two stop driving because that's pretty stressful.

Rich Bennett 1:28:35
And I guarantee you that woman you were talking about, high of waffle.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:38
you.

Rich Bennett 1:28:38
I bet

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:38
Yeah.

Rich Bennett 1:28:39
worry about anything.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:40
Yeah. Yeah. She, she didn't, she'd never, you know, she was just a pearl. Everybody loved her. She came in one day on her birthday. She goes, I'm 85 years today. And I took a picture of her. And I put it on Facebook. And I mean, it got like a thousand likes. And I'm like, I usually get like 20,

Rich Bennett 1:28:57
Right.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:28:58
you know, 30. And I'm like, who is this woman? She's had this energy, you know, this, this, she was always smiling. Come in. You know, and I can't believe Dr. Bob and he's gonna help me with this and this. And this. So she was just the center. Yeah. Don't worry. Cause you can't change that.

Rich Bennett 1:29:14
Yeah.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:29:15
That's, that's number one. So that's, that's what I got.

Rich Bennett 1:29:17
Sounds good to me. Dr. Bob, I want to thank you so much. It's been an honor. And God, those of you listening. I hope you got something out of this and definitely change your lifestyle. Look into his website because I was blowing away. I mean, I thought I was eating healthy. Why am I eating healthier? But now I know there are so many more things that I need to add as well. Especially silver. I'm going to eat silver. Wow. Dr. Bob. Thanks a lot.

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:29:52

Rich Bennett 1:29:53

Dr. Bob McCauley 1:29:54
